There are no mandatory class in this game. Jester is useful, cool and all, but he's not mandatory. the jester is just covering that mistakes. Stress heals from crits are only 4 points, and it's not like you crit every round so how exactly will that offset an enemy crit or stress attack? Some of you talk about using crits to kill quickly before getting stress attacks, and crits also give you stress heal. How the hell do you guys complete your dungeons without a Jester? Is it because you guys turned off some features like corpses and monster crit damage, or what? Long: 2 runs, 0 completed (all abandoned) Medium: 2 runs, 0 completed (all abandoned) Short: 3 runs, 2 completed with heroes being afflicted I just ran several teams through short, medium and long dungeons, all without a Jester, and the results: I know many people have stated their different builds and opinions regarding Jester not being required to be permanently part of a team, but I find it impossible to believe.
